I have always had a camera pointed towards me. My father would constantly photograph me as a child, and when I reached adulthood I started to photograph myself.

For the first time in my life I decided to point the camera towards someone else. My family and closest friends.

My photographs have always been staged and highly controlled; this time I am letting chance into the picture. Storytelling through photography has been my familiar language, using my own image as subject matter, as an other character and not myself.

This time I am telling their story as well as mine, and the passing of time will be writer to the story. This is just the beginning.
