The Smedsby series is a splintered depiction of my self‐image. It stems from womanhood and the passing of the age of fifty years, the dissolvement of the self‐image into the tepid water between practice and everyday life.
The process was challenging, and I rushed from pillar to post. In fact, I think I am still in the beginning of the process, only having taken a few steps, still satisfied that I have travelled this far. I have to assess my direction and keep on going forward.
