When the war broke out in Jugoslavia half of my family remained and half of them left. I have longed to tell the story about them. About us. I have been taking pictures since I was 9 years-old.

 My name is Anna Drvnik and I have been taking pictures all my life. Mostly in my immediate surroundings. I have never had the urge to travel to seek inspiration and objects. They are all around me. People. I live for other people, for communicating and interacting. For pictures and storytelling.  And my eyes are never asleep.
