Since I was a child I was told I need to find someone strong to have in my corner. Someone who would take care of me. Strangely, as I was growing up, it brought me to live through a series of abusive relationships, a pattern that was and is difficult to interrupt. I remember constantly feeling like living in a shadow. The work is about this emotional displacement, as well as about longing and absence. The absence of myself.
