This photo workshop is designed for photographers who are at any stage in the process of making a project and wish to find stimulation towards greater visual, intuitive and conceptual coherence in order to realise completion for books and exhibitions.
A particular theme, to be announced during the workshop, is designed to help find different creative approaches and push participants to experiment, enhance and ultimately add to the work they have already made.
Via lectures, individual and group discussions, participants will benefit from understanding their own work from a fresh perspective, as well as the work of others, that will enable a greater self awareness to realise their personal, long term, projects.
At the end of the workshop participants will have completed a theme based assignment and will make a presentation of this work to the group. The work photographed during this time can add to existing projects or can act as an inspired impetus.
Day 1. Presentation of participant's projects and portfolios. An assignment will be given and a lecture on the assignments particular theme. Discussion of ideas and practical solutions to photographing the assignment. This assignment is the core of the workshop and will be presented on the final day.
